'THE FORGOTTEN ONE'
This car, the Super Carrera Leistungssteigerung, has the Original Porsche AG factory 3,122cc engine under the hood.
All evidence in place:
- Stamp on the engine casing ' 930/09 *3.1* '
- Original Porsche factory letter
- 2 Dutch taxation reports
Porsche engine developer Rolf Sprenger estimates 200-300 units ever sold to customers who were not satisfied with the standard 3.0L 180bhp engine.
The option was only promoted by word of mouth.
Today ? Only 9 units are known worldwide including 1 wreck.
